Based in New York with an office in Palermo, Trinacria Editions (formerly Officina Trinacria) specializes in the publication of books, in English, about Sicily and peninsular Italy south of Rome, both fiction and nonfiction, with a particular nonfiction focus on humanities and social science. This includes peer-reviewed academic titles published under the Sicilian Studies and Sicilian Medieval Studies imprints. Trinacria is international, being one of the few publishers outside Italy specialized in southern Italian subjects, and one of just a handful in Italy dedicated to works in English.
Trinacria is different but so are its authors. Most have both intellectual and ancestral connections to the part of Italy they write about.
